Isager Tweed is a Luxurious blend of 70% wool and 30% mohair.

This is a single ply yarn and has a slightly irregular homespun texture. There are flecks of colour buried in the fibre and the yarn has a slight sheen.

Spun and dyed in Ireland for Isager yarn.

Waistcoat/Body warmer in Isager Tweed

I love this yarn and am knitting a pattern from Ravelry called Pelica by Rosa Pumar using double strands of Isager Tweed (granite shade). The pattern is an unusual construction and perhaps not for beginners. The garter stitch gives it a substantial feel and I know that I will wear it loads.
