Introducing Hamelton Tweed 1 yarn from BC Garn, a high twist aran worsted yarn that is soft and squishy unlike so many tweed yarns. The fleck in the yarn cordinates with the base colour offering a contemporary range of tweed colours. 

The base is 10% bamboo and 90% mulesing free wool from South America, the yarn is then spun and dyed in Italy.

We also stock Hamelton Tweed 2, a chunky yarn from the same brand. BC Garn is a Danish brand of yarns, many of which are GOTS certified as part of the brand's focus on creating fibres that are sustainable as well as luxurious.
