Wool School Official Opening Party

Our Wool School is expanding! The growth of the business and the uptake of our knitting workshops and crochet classes has been so wonderful that we've quickly out-grown our space. Previously held in our store room, we've invested in a whole new space - the adjoining shopfront right next door is becoming our new dedicated Wool School!

This gives us back our store room space, allowing us to stock more colours and weights of your favourite yarns, as well as bring in highly demanded new brands and styles (did you know we've just started stocking Peer Gynt by Sandnes Garn? More on that later!) 

To celebrate the expansion, we're holding a FREE Official Opening Party!

Official Opening

The party will kick off with a ribbon cutting ceremony by Geraldine Warner (aka Museum Knits), officially opening the new space and welcoming you in to see the new, stunning space for yourself and enjoy light refreshments including cupcakes and soft drinks.

Free Knitting Taster Sessions

To give you a closer, hands-on experience with what the Wool School will have to offer, we will be holding FREE knitting taster sessions in the new space during the opening party. These sessions will give you the chance to meet the tutors who regularly teach for us, as well as give you the chance to try new techniques and learn about our current workshops.

There will be three sessions: Learn to knit, German twisted cast on, and German short row shaping. The sessions will run for 45minutes during the party and spaces are limited, so please book your space in advance. You will need to bring your own tools and yarn to the sessions - of course, plenty of supplies can be purchased on the day from our wool shop.
