Ida's House has Moved to Lewes!

The brand new Ida's House yarn shop has now opened in Lewes - find us at Farncombe House, 16 Market Street, Lewes, BN7 2NB

After a number of years in Caterham on the Hill, we made the choice to move to Lewes and opened the doors to our new location in April 2024. We have been so pleased with the response and bowled over by the amount of people that have welcomed us to the area.

Feedback from locals has been phenomenal - it seems like Lewes was in desperate need for a yarn store! We've brought our exceptional stock of yarn, tools, patterns and magazines with us to the new location, so you can shop your favourites in person or online - we've got a huge range of Isager yarn, Rico knitting yarns and loads of other independent and leading brands including Filcolana.

As well as our stock for sale, we have also invested in the creation of a dedicated space to hold our crochet and knitting workshops - a huge upgrade over those locations holding classes in their stock rooms.

The space is cosy and encouraging, and we're so excited to hold one on one classes as well as group courses in the space, helping you to get new skills and techniques.

So far, the new shop is everything we could have hoped for and we're so excited to grow our range, add more courses and serve the community. Come in to see us - we're open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am - 5pm.
