Ida's House

A perfect project bag. Compact to carry but It holds so much. Current project has ten 50g balls and I have a sizeable part of blanket knitted. All held easily. Whenever I open it to work on project the design makes contents easily accessible and it makes me smile every time. Shop in Lewes gorgeous too and shop owner and staff so helpful and enthusiastic.

Always superb customer care given regardless of purchase. Would highly recommend this shop and owner to any knitter or crochet fan, whether a beginner or experienced.

I had been looking to purchase this book for a while, and as I noticed it was Sold Out on many websites, I decided it was time to go ahead and buy the book. Choosing to make my purchase at Ida's House I had not appreciated the personal service I would recieve. With deliver information and updates keeping me informed. The book arrived on time and the note I recieved with the package was just delightful and really brighten my day!

I am now looking forward to making the little creatures over the winter.

Had a great time learning this new skill. Natalie is a wonderful teacher her passion really shows. The number of participants was just right in this relaxed atmosphere surrounded by the most georgeous display of various wools. Don't hesitate to try this, you won't be disappointed.

This kit contains the yarns and pattern for the Odette shawl. The Isager yarns are stunning and I can’t wait to get started! The combination of dark grey Spinni 4s and the pinky purple alpaca 1 (colour 61) is perfect. Everything arrived quickly and was packaged up so nicely with a Thankyou card from Jayne. What’s not to love?!

I wasn't too sure if I would like the book as I'm not a fan of neon! I saw a friend's copy & had to buy one for myself - some wonderful patterns, I love the creative mixing of yarns to create your own personal palette. The book arrived beautifully packaged, it felt like a present to me. Thank you to Ida's House for the wonderful service

I was so excited to see the book had arrived this morning which was really quick. It is gorgeous. Lovely colour and the inside beautiful with lovely photos and print. It's a nice size as well. And best of all wonderful patterns. The book was nicely wrapped and the thank you card is lovely. Very happy!

In May, while on holiday in England, I was delighted to discover Ida's cozy and beautifully curated wool shop. From the moment I walked in the door, hoping to see English or continental yarns that might not be so obviously available on line, I was not at all disappointed - the range of colors, textures, content, weight and ply was swoon worthy, and I was assisted in the most friendly, and knowledgable manner. It was all such that when I returned to America I found my purchases.... three boxes containing a pattern, two beautiful books and enough yarn for three different meaningful projects had arrived and were there to inspire and remind me of Ida's and my most memorable time abroad.
